The Concept
Towards an Integrated Concept. (Science Is Endless) The design process and concept generation of the science city relied on an integrated approach including all aspects of accessibility, site planning, urban design, architecture, landscape Sand environmental issues. Even feasibility, to implementation, technologies, governance and the functioning of the city, were thought of from the start of the conception phase. The main concern was to maintain a dialogue between all elements of the plan, while ensuring a story telling for each feature stressing on the concept of "Science is endless". The benefits of thinking comprehensively from the beginning, enabled a better integration of spaces and places indoor and outdoor.
Science an Endless Knowledge. The main philosophy of the project relies on the interpretation of science within this project - Continuity science is a continuous process, it is never completed and evolve with time. - Mystery science gives answers to uncertainty and questions. perspectives science view problem from different perspective.

Landscape Concept:
The relationship between the Egyptian citizen and landscape is quite amazing, and it depends strongly on his socio-economic strata. Although Egyptians have always lived in the rich area of el Delta and Wadi, growing crops, and enjoying nature, they still consider landscape is a luxury feature, and for long the landscape true meaning has weakened. Until the construction of compounds, where landscape became the prime element for marketing.
This project aims at the revitalization of the original landscape elements, focusing on the Egyptian landscape identity, laying the main 3 elements that have always existed, “desert, water, green fields” reflecting the aridity, softness, and fertility.

Project Development Phases
The phases in the project are divided accordingly to the sequence of appearance of the three main anchors on the site acting as a point of attraction the Wave, the Observatory tower (The Hypatia Tower) and the Planetarium for visitors to the site enhancing their sense of curiosity and discovery. Each anchor raises the sense of Discovery, and adds to the experience of the visitor. The phases are designed with flexibility to allow additions or subtractions of the slabs without jeopardizing the urban form and the use of outdoor spaces
