HINGLISH
English and Hindi are the two most spoken languages in India, over the years it has given rise to a new and most used vocabulary called 'Hinglish'. An illustrated guidebook was created, which plays with the puns of the words and illustrates how the meanings are different in English and Hinglish.
The main source of inspiration are the hand-painted types done by artists on local truck/good carriers. The styles of the type faces found on the truck were digitized and then illustrated. The illustrations use elements, which are seen on a daily day-to-day basis in India.
