I wanted to play off the theme of "destination" weddings and the bride and groom being from different countries. The first draft had the invitation as a folded card with airport codes for Ottawa and Houston and a stamped effect on the M&S heart.
The bride and groom wanted to go a bit simpler and really liked the inside of the card. I proposed some versions of the invitation (1 with a border and 1 with more negative space). We all felt that having it as a single side made everything hard to read because of the abundance of information. We resolved on a two-sided version with some lettering on one side and information on the other.
