The 50th Golden Camera awards - 50th anniversary

For the 50th anniversary of the “Golden Camera Awards”, the history of the awards was the main focus. The first gold plated awards were presented at the end of the black and white TV era. Therefore color blocking of the colours black and white were used only complimented by gold. Translating the concept to a modern context, the typeface “Grotesk Walsheim” was used as a basis that spread along the formats as a liquid logo. A hint to the past was created by a altered script font “Ballpoint” used for the “Fünfzig”. The hot foil embossed script interweaving the high relief embossed “Grotesk Walsheim” create the main event logo on the invitation. Contrast gold bar elements such as the gold programme and the gold envelope, detailed by a black wax seal of the trophy, are integrated. The custom stamps are black and white with a delicate hot foil embossing.
