Mein Schiff 4 - The fourth dimension

The theme of the christening event for the cruise ship “Mein Schiff 4” was “the fourth dimension”. The idea was to interpret a nautical approach in a modern context and integrate the dimensions in a diverse manner. The base of the design is a nautical chart. Shoals move lively along the elements and a strict grid is used as design element and formal layout. The unique envelope is made of rubber coated fabric and closed with a figure eight knot. The four different layers of material of the invitation align seamlessly showing the shoals and logos in perfect precision. The iridescent wrapping of the guest invitation reveals sailor`s yarn in order to introduce the companion to the nautical theme.
