In this exercise, different types of planes are utilized to create a composition. The types of planes used are straight planes, curved planes, bent planes, and twisted planes. The planes have to form groups with hierarchy. The dominant plane becomes stronger with the presence of the subordinate elements. 
In the beginning I started with several quick sketches and afterwards one was chosen and the concept is refined which is then followed by the construction of the final model.
Both the placement and the angle at which each plane is tilted are important in creating negative space and tension in the composition. The direction of the major axis of each plane directs the visual movement from one plane to the next, connecting them.
