The Portrait is a Canadian documentary film produced by the National Film Board of Canada and Rooster Post. Through Wendel I was put to the task of designing, animating and compositing a two and a half minute segment. This segment was deemed the "White World" sequence as the main artist of the film sketched out his initial drawings of a scene before beginning his painting. I also created a number of animated graphic inserts for the film.
