Keith Jarett - Text visualization

About the project:

The base of this project was Keith Jarret's thoughts for his album, called Spirits.
The task was making a 4x4m interior place's makett, mainly using tipograhy. You can imagine this place as an exhibiton place, where people can buy Spirits album too.

I wanted to make a design, which refers to the musician's writing and it shows the thoughts of Spirits with visuality.
The next sequence shows the makett's build-up side to side.

The projest contains other elements besides this makett: a CD and a vinyl packaging.
First side: floor

I used the whole text of the "Spirits" as pattern and layers.
If you look it closer you can read the text, and is you look it afar you can read a bigger "SPIRITS" word.
Second side:

It was important to me to connect the various sides with graphycs. because of this, the texts are flooding one side to another side.

At this side I emphasized the one of the most important thing for me: "Mik vagyunk?", which means What are we? In connection to this the musician speaks about, more and more people trying to hide that they are increasingly fewer with collecting more and more thing.
Third and fourth side:

The design of this place I only used black and white. Because of the image, it was very important to use contrasts between the sides, so at two opposite sides I made the tipography with black background. The text on the floor is flooding to these black side and here the text's color changes from grey to white, and of course you can still read it.

I emphasized some sentences which are important according to me. I put these sentences out of the textboxes and separate the words according to the meaning so you can define the sentences easier.

Entrance side:

This side contains the other main thought: "Zene csak a csönd által jöhet létre". This means: Music can only come off silence.
I visualize this sentence, but I I made a little change. I skip the "csönd" (=silence) word and make the entrance in the place of that.

If the viewer look through this entrance, he or she can see one of the main thougts: "Mik vagyunk?" (=What are we?)
