While looking for some freelance work, I encountered the project Arelite Core and got in touch with the developer, Kevin Giguère, from Dragon Slumber. The game had been greenlighted by Steam's community and they needed a pixel artist to animate some of the monsters the lead artist, Naressa, had designed.
This was the first time I dealt with such detailed Pixel art, and it was actually nerve-wracking at first, but I gave it the best I could and strived to improve myself, so the first thing we did was a test with one of the monsters, an Orc. I had to make a few corrections for the shapes here and there plus adjustments in the shading until it was all accepted.

After the approval, we continued with the rest of the monsters, some of which I've included down here with permission, so as not to spoil too many of the awesome monsters this game has to offer.

This game had been in development since 2012, if I'm not mistaken, and I started working with the Dragon Slumber team since May 2015. The game has now been released on steam.
I am thrilled that I was able to continue to work on this game until now, proud that it has been released, and looking back at what was accompished, I believe it helped me grow a bit more as a pixel artist.
