London Trocadero: Full Interior Painting & Launch Party

London Trocadero

Event we hosted to launch the Trocadero Underground.

The London Trocadero had an old, tired, corridor in need of a revamp.

Designed by Wren Architecture and Painted by End of the Line’s Probs and Tizer, this once redundant passage has been designed to inspire spontaneous performances and create a platform for up and coming entertainers to showcase their talent.

The space is now laid out like an open plan amphitheatre with shiny lino floor and new lighting.  It's also used regularly by breakers both professional and amateur.
Breakdown Circus
The Trocadero Underground launched with a heavy bassline and plenty of energy as the Breakdown Circus took over the new performance space.

Breakdown Circus was the first event to launch this new creative hub. Teaming up with Eastpak Throwdown, a notorious collective of the UKʼs best breakdancers for an afternoon of uprocking, bodypopping, battles in the basement. Crowds of all ages gathered to listen to the flexi-fingers of scratch dj’s Herse and Lumo. Whilst Hobbit a heavyweight in the beatboxing arena, hosted the event and rocked the mic with his mind-blowing vocal skills.

The brilliant and very talented street dance group, Ebonessence bounced onto the stage. The dynamic dancers aged 7-20 brought the house down with their vivacious routines. Whilst graffiti artists were taken by storm as they customized free t.shirts. The lurid, tag style tees were in high demand as the endless queues snaked around the space. For an extra blast of beats, booming street percussionist Bucket ministry was at hand with his energetic rhythmic display.
