Song Quotes, Out of Context
Music has always been a huge influence on my work and myself as a person. During my first year of college, I had earned the nickname "Headphones" for obvious reasons, given my constant desire to live life with a soundtrack. I started this project mainly for fun, and honestly it's been just that. I wanted to showcase some of those quotes from songs that just give me goosebumps (in a good way!), some that make me laugh, and others that have the power to make me cry. The ones I had the most fun creating have been the "version 2" pieces, which are based more on ironic humor than anything else. By removing a section of the quote and simply re-framing it, you get a totally different feel than the original song intended, which just tickles me pink.
