Typographic Systems Book

For this project I wanted to take some of my previous work and organize them into a book. So decided to organize them by the system that i used to create each piece. So for each piece I made different layouts to keep each page unique and play true to each system.
Each system would contain different layouts and the text would be arrange in provoking ways, but maintained readability.
I felt that this page and layout made the most sense because it allowed the piece to breath and have space that moved around the piece. The text was arranged in a way that made sense reading left to right.
After choosing the layouts that made the most sense and created best flow I linked all of the work and placed them in each page. I then created this square theme to each page that would tie the whole book together.
I created a table of contents that was interactive on the .SWF version. This allowed quick navigation to any section in the book. I also created tabs on the sides of each page that would allow you to jump back one section at a time.
So for each chapter I decided to make very simple introduction pages that were graphically strong and leave the typography for the body pages. This allowed the book to become a design in of itself.
Within each body page there is text explaining the processes I used to create the projects and explains a little about each of the typographic systems.
