The baseball, fastpitch and softball athlete needed better backpacks. It had to consider first and foremost the specific needs of the user. Understanding these needs was key to designing the backpack. Easton Sports needed to prove to their customers that they can design a great bag, but also be a key player in the market.
As the senior industrial designer, I led the team of 3 designers junior and interns, and coordinated with development teams in Asia.. Other responsibilities included concept development, user research and user testing, prototyping, and executive presentation reviews.
