Firefly is a project aimed at improving bicycle visibility on the road, in order to raise safety and comfort of cyclists after dark.

The lighting is an integral part of the whole construction. The framework of the bicycle is built out of double side dented profiles, which house the lighting wires. The wires not only bring out the geometry of its framework, but also give a subtle glow to the ground close to the back tire, thus marking a cyclist’s “safe space”.

The feeding is hidden within the steering wheel. The glowing wires are lit after the magnetic plug-in is connected to the steering wheel, and can be easily unplugged and charged via USB cable.
