Hey guys. I'm baaaack and I'm up for a self challenge.

Let me introduce you to PROJECT MANIP/MONTH, or simply Manip a Month. It's a monthly contribution of photo manipulated artworks using original photos taken in a month from January until December (If I get motivated, I might do one per week). It could be themed or just random, depending on the photos I take within a certain month.

I came up with this idea knowing that I take a lot of photos from my iPhone, and I archive them to my cloud/laptop. Then I see my friends doing Project 365s or 52-week challenges and thought maybe I could do one on my own. So, I was like, why not make use of these photos and create something weird or... wonderful? (if ever it will turn out to be one lol)

So yeah, that's how MANIP/MONTH was born. It was a splendid and productive idea I thought I could execute willingly, and besides, I kinda miss messing around with Photoshop these days. Overall, I'm beyond happy about this. This will definitely keep my creative juices flowing all year. YAYYYY

JTLYK (just to let you know), I usually post process in Photoshop, Illustrator and sometimes in VSCO if you're wondering. Photos are all taken from my iPhone. It's been a while since I did photo manipulation. I barely forgot how to work on filters and brushes these days, so I hope you guys go easy on me. Haha.

Also, expect that some of these photos will be distorted and modified. Basically, I can play with my photos if I want to, but still keep it neat and simple to the finish.

Expect posts around the end of the month. I'll be posting the original photos here, too, just in case you're wondering where I took them from.

It would be nice to suggest a theme for the next coming months! I'd appreciate suggestions and comments to make this challenge more interesting. Mahalo!
