Personal and Student Work
This is a body of student and personal work in textile design. The first project is a hand painted silk scarf. This technique begins with a stretched piece of silk which is then painted with resist. After the resist dries, the scarf is painted with French dyes. The dyes are then steam set and the scarf is washed and ready for wear.
The first picture is a rough of the scarf mid-process. The second is the finished product.
