Drink Me was a workshop headed by Isaac Buttigieg and Mike Zerafa during the SACES 2016 Workshop, Paramnesia. The scope was to study Alice in Wonderland and represent the thoughts it evokes materialistically.
The prevalent themes during our conversations as a group were scale, curiosity and contradiction. The change in scale was evident in the pool and we sought to emphasize it through the different sizes of the spaces which were created by the hanging fabric. Curiosity was something we tackled through the lack of direction given in the space. Contradiction was something which was made apparent in the place in the way it was used after it was built, being used both as a party space and a chill out zone.
