The Flying Lizard was inspired by imagery depicting creatures of the deep sea and old fashioned mechanical toys. The Flying Lizard flaps its wings as it propels itself through an imaginary underwater world.

The sculpture was designed on computer and realised using 3D printing. The Lizard utilises gravity to enable the flapping motion.
