When Özge contacted me and said she needed wedding invitations and a whole set of menu, table numbers and a welcome sign design for their wedding, I didn't know she was going to turn out to be "the coolest bride ever". She has this easy going, calm personality combined with a very elegant taste and she told me that they wanted a simple nature themed invitation since they were getting married in the woods. I asked about the details of their wedding, got some pictures about how the dress and the decorations were going to be and finally decided to design a two layered invitation inspired by the nature. The invitations were printed on a combination of kraft paper & transparent paper. 

We kept it minimal and simple from the dimensions of the invitations to the design. I suggested Özge not to use envelopes to avoid more waste of paper since our whole concept was inspired by nature. She found this argument perfectly valid and hand delivered the invitations to protect the paper from getting damaged. Instead of envelopes, I designed name tags for guests and we tied all the layers together with a fabric.

As a designer,  Özge's wedding was a very special case to me since she was very calm about every challenge we had during the process and so open-minded about every solution. She never interfered with my design decisions once I explained the reasons behind them, and she clearly defined what she expected from me. She was the dream client :)

I think the end result shows how beautiful the whole wedding turned out to be. I wish Özge and Emirhan a life time of happiness and joy.
