SKETCH
About the netbook, It`s considered to be a cheap, light and low-performance machine. Surely, the thickness and cost are important but I'm trying to add some styling and imagination without increasing the cost, by using the curve mixed with geometry. I want to build a delicate looking, not a cheap impression.
ABOUT  DESIGN
I wanted to make the design more valuable and eye-catching. First, I used the curve parting line at display part and the base part, one heading up and the other heading down. It could make the machine looked more lively and also increase the variability of the color scheme. Secondly, I use the special mold-in texture, which can give an amazing effect in the appearance by only one light painting and also have a good grip feeling. For different platform, I reserved 2 changeable base cover.
KEYBOARD AREA
For the C cover, it has a smooth keyboard recess to match with the whole appearance. The B, C covers are all white plastic without paint. The B&C cover frame side is polished, that makes a shiny band around the device when it is closed, and because the shiny band is narrow, it has no risk of scratches and does not need the protection film to impact the cost.
