Ogres and Onions
For this Kinetic Typography project, I have chosen a scene of memorable quotes from the famous movie Shrek. This is the scene when Shrek explained to Donkey about ogres. The reason for using this scene is the humor residing in Donkey’s comments, the voice intonation, and repetitive words spoken – which emphasized the sentences.
The design’s theme chosen for this project is “Medieval Fairy Tale Story Books”. This design can be seen in the movie itself and the Shrek’s artbook. I chose the font Optima as its capital letter is bold and clear, with a bit of medieval feel in it, I decided to use a simpler font than the famous decorated medieval font.
