BlueAvocado Branding

I helped name the products, and designed a minimal packaging system made of a single piece of chipboard cut in the shape of their brand mark. Each package clearly indicates the number of plastic bags that could be avoided by using the bag once, and by using it regularly for a year.

The packaging system was awarded and ADDY.
I had the fortune of art directing a shoot of the bags with talented studio photographer David Omer.
Business cards die-cut out of the Avocado mark.
This brochure was created to communicate the product line to retail buyers at national expos.
I helped design a simple e-commerce website.
I helped deploy a campaign called the Billion Bag Pledge. It consisted of an online video featuring a "spokesball" who represented the average American's annual plastic bag habit.
The spokesball came to be known as "Schlumpy," and toured events such as Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Fest to spread the good word of reuse. More about this tour can be seen here
