I've been working on establishing a brand and design for my résumé and personal business card. After running through a hundred and one ideas, I decided on the current rocket motif for its connotations of power, speed, and precision. That, and I'm a huge nerd for NASA, of course. 

The rocket and social / contact icons are original vector artwork created in Illustrator. The font used is Quicksand Book, and both documents were created in InDesign.

Carrying over my personal branding to the various social sites I use was a bit of a challenge. They should use the same basic visual themes without being repetitive, so I worked in the original color scheme and used the rocket throughout. The Facebook theme is a bit more playful as that social network is centered on family and friends. For Twitter I made another attempt to work on my photorealistic collage skills. And Tumblr is a more design- and content-oriented space, so I kept the branding to a bare minimum to let those components take center stage.
