Southwestern Photojournalism Conference 2012
Every year, Southwestern Seminary hosts the Southwestern Photojournalism Conference on campus. I had the opportunity to design the 2011 and 2012 conference promotional materials, including posters, flyers, nametags, email blast graphics, Facebook cover photos, and web headers. I knew the promotional materials needed to feature the work of the photographers. In 2011, I focused on one photo by Jeremy Cowart, but decided that 2012 should focus on the conference name and all of the speakers. This is why I blurred the photos in the background of my original design, however, some people in the approval chain felt that the photos should be clearly seen. So I redesigned for approvals. I posted the nametag design at the top because it's my personal favorite and I created the lens icon from scratch.
