Revelation Class Ad
Southwestern needed an ad for Dr. Patterson's Revelation Class to publish in Southwestern News, so Creative Director and I worked on completing the project as quickly as possible. He knew what photo he needed for the design, gave me the idea, and I went to the studio to make it happen. The only hitch in the plan was that Patterson's commentary on Revelation was still at press, so I took the photo using another book from the NAC Commentary series and changed the title, name, and number in Photoshop. Just like with any photo of a product on a white background, you have to cut out the subject in Photoshop. If you don't, the "white background" actually looks like a dingy, yellow-gray color. Keeping the natural shadows in tact during this process can be taxing, but the finished photo says it's worth it.
