Eitlar - Lymph Nodes is one of the first things I made with clay. I had been working at a desk job for three years after going through University. I realized I did not like it and I had to have other potential. I had always wanted to do something with my hands, so I quit my job and enlisted to a two year diploma course in Clay and related materials at Reykjavík School of Visual Arts.
I made this piece on my first semester as a semester final. Our objective was to make an expressive piece after going through a nontraditional course where we looked into the human body through nonconventional expressive techniques.

I was deeply inspired by the movie Blade Runner throughout this whole process. The quote "more human than human" echoed in my mind when I was sculpting it. I ended up with another quote from the movie to my own surprise.
