Stopping Traffic: Finding Freedom from Modern-Day Slavery
Principia College's annual Public Affairs Conference is the longest-running student-run conference in the nation. At each conference, internationally-recognized speakers and global thinkers come from all around the world to speak on timely topics. For two consecutive years, I served on the conference Executive Board as one of the Directors of Publications. I managed all aspects of branding and print production, as well as developed and implemented themes for the production of conference publication materials (which included pamphlets, folders, brochures, banners, and apparel). In 2011, the conference's focus shifted towards the issue of human trafficking with the topic “Stopping Traffic: Finding Freedom from Modern-Day Slavery.” The work below from the 2011 conference was created in collaboration with Jessica Dunlap.
