This series of 24 x 36" paintings was commissioned by the band. I was provided with a photo chosen by each band member. No background was provided, as they wanted to be able to have a maximum flexibility in how the final images were used, as a group or separately. As the project progressed, they wanted to see a mockup background of a post-Apocalyptic LA scene that could be used for each. I painted the backgrounds in Photoshop. All the figure work is acrylic and oils on canvas, and scanned in before the backgrounds were added. The figure edges are color-keyed for the fire reflections as well, and would have been more accurately blended in the final output than you see here.
