This is a 3D Photoshop project I decided to embark on. Above is the finished product after rendering and adding some finishing touches. This document was made for print and the original is 36 in. x 24 in. at 150 ppi. I plotted it full size on glossy photo paper. The size of the document made it difficult to work with toward the end and impossible to render 100% of the way, of which I tried unsuccessfully on multiple computers.
Above is the finished document of the 3D objects, before any rendering. I also made a tutorial series on making this project. I was curious to see if my new graphics card would handle using its own screen recording software, while working with such a complex 3D file. I was happy to find no noticeable decrease in performance and decided to continue recording. It is more a tutorial on tips and techniques for doing 3D in Photoshop, as I have found a lack of information on it and hopefully will inspire others to experiment in Photoshop. Most of what I have found out of 3D in Photoshop has been trial and error and experimentation. I have recordings on another project that will be a tutorial that is more beginning to end and every step.
