The Values Project

Every one of our stories is about an intrinsic set of values. To think about your community, rather than just yourself, the ‘golden rule’ empathy, recycling, clean energy, inclusion and protection in every part of life for girls - as well as sustainable plans for moving families and communities out of poverty. The most young people in India migrate from Bihar and Jharkhand to the cities - Delhi, Mumbai - when they arrive without skills they are locked into insecure daily wage employment, in overcrowded slums with the realities of climate change, no access to shelter, food and water being the most challenging issues they have to survive. Our goal is to equip young people with the skills they need to succeed, to keep them in school by making education relevant to employment, and seeding new ideas of sustainable, equitable enterprises so that instead of migrating in search of low-paying work, they create new enterprises that solve local problems and create jobs.
