Airport City Poznan
The subject of the thesis is the design concept of urban land use neighborhood to the Airport Ławica in Poznań. The main idea of the proposed arrangement 'airport CITY Poznan' was the formation of a clear system of streets, pedestrian routes, squares and built quarters, based on the internal spine - communication. The green areas along the main axis of the project and the airPark, have been designed according to the principles of sustainable urban development. The proposed system is intended to exploiting the potential of the site andgenerate a quarter of a business through the introduction of service and office buildings.
airHotel **** & Conference Center
The master thesis also includes architectural design concept of the airport hotel - air Hotel, located in the immediate vicinity of the passenger terminal. It is an attempt to search for form matching to the industrial character of the surrounding architecture. The solution is the result of the function and structure mounted in an areodynamic shape. An important point was also to complement the multifunctional structure of the Airport City and the creation of hotel base and conference centerm taking into account the fundamental values, which should have a modern airport hotel.
