The design of the letterpress pieces was intended to reflect Robin’s juxtaposition of disparate materials, such as gold with weathered steel, and her desire to make jewelry that looked as though it could have been “excavated from an ancient civilization.” This was combined with an Instagram campaign highlighting her process and materials as she worked towards showing at the prestigious Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show.
