Man Made Land // Part 1&2

Man Made Land Part 1 // Charcoal Drawings
The theme of the project is Topology, "A graphic representation of the surface features of a place or region on a map, indicating their positions and elevations. The surface features of an object."

The project is inspired by the concept, Man Made Land. This refers to the land that we, human beings, shaped and live in. We use and abuse the earth and in turn, we receive back the abuse of our actions. This part of the project is symbolic of the effects our actions have on the land, mirrored on our bodies. Like looking in the mirror of your actions.
