During the summer of 2008, I worked as a freelance graphic designer for 280design, a small design firm in Brooklyn, New York. The firm's owner, Basia Grocholski, asked me to illustrate a new line of tshirts for her Greenpoint gift shop, Brooklynski, that would express pride in local Polish culture. The single letter includes
icons that represent Polish identity and related associations to Brooklyn.
