圆点 Origin
圆点，谐音原点, 源点。
当我们开始画着一个个圆点，
我们必须回到原点，
才能画出一个完美的圆点。

圆点代表着圆满，
原点代表着基础，
源点代表着初衷，
唯有依靠源点回到原点，
才能形成完美的圆点。

“Yuan Dian” means “circle”,
while in Mandarin, phonetically pronounced it also means the “starting point or origin”.
When we start to draw a set of circles,
we have to return to the starting point again in order to produce a perfect circle.
Circle represents the completion,
Origin represents the foundation,
Root represents the intention,
To get back to the origin is to rely on the intention,
and a perfect circle will be formed.
《圆点》是一本zine, 诉说着我和设计学士班同学们三年求学过程中的心理痕迹，从家人的反对，挣扎到毕业。《圆点》集合了同学们的观点，并道出这三年里所面对的窘境。《圆点》也鼓励同学拿起笔，在这本刊上留下想补充的观点，和毕业寄语，起到共同完成这本记录着属于我们的设计学士三年光阴的《圆点》。这本zine运用类似报纸纸质以呈现我们班对于纸张触觉的执著，希望多年后能呈现泛黄的复古与沧桑感。
Origin is a zine depicting the journey of my Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design with my classmates, summarising our struggles throughout the years, from a starting point to its ending point. Hence it forms a complete circle. The perception of time is expressed through a newspaper-like paper material that brings out the retro and yellowish look.
献给一同走过的同窗，因为你们，我的圆点完美了。
