'Karma Spirits'
Based on hand-drawn designs made with POSCA pens in my weathered moleskin notebook, I created a ruleset for designing these "spirits". Their purpose is to bring joy and happiness into the world, with diverse motifs, so that almost anyone can pick their favorite.
Part 1 is all about finding out which designs people like. This has been done by spreading the word through social media, and to friends, family and strangers around town. An online survey (the target for the flyer above) is the source of data gathering.
