QUICK DRAFTS Penguin Brief: To Kill a Mockingbird Cover

This concept relates to Scouts reflections throughout the book and her ability to see different perspectives, including the Mockingbirds.
This represents the ignorance, child adult perception and racial prejudice experienced in the book. Tom Robinson is black and accused of hitting and raping a white woman even though he has an non-functional arm. The hand holding his is scouts and her acceptance of all things.
Playing with letters to show another perception. Similar to the book which is built on different perceptions thrown at Scout.
This cover was inspired by ignorance and prejudice and the ability the Mockingbird characters had at showing the truth.
Quick font I created trying to once again show the different perspectives within the book.
The brief asked for a cover that inspired a whole new generation of readers, how about Emojis? The new language, evolved by Millennials.
