LOOK INTO LA iPhone App
Smart phone as a personal electronic device provided a lot of possibilities to our daily life. With iOS GPS (Global Positioning System) SDK (Software Development Kit) and AR (Augmented Reality) technology, I designed an iPhone App called Look into LA.
In this App, I have collected 20 movies that are shot in downtown Los Angeles. Users can go to those movie locations to visit the characters that are generated from AR through iPhone. They can also use photo filter to make movie posters out of photos, which they took at these locations. They can leave some words about their experience too. After all above, they can share these experiences to their friends through social medias like Facebook, twitter, etc. Those AR markers will become a signage system for this invisible movie world in the city.
