Rubiks Cube for blind People I Braillecube

Industrial Design

The Rubik’s cube is a timeless classic toy where players order the colored
sides by turning its components to get unified colored faces. Our Braillecube
makes this popular toy accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired.

Instead of six colors each component of the Braillecube is provided with the first
three letters of the color in Braille letters.

In plain white the Braillecube is very difficult to solve for sighted people with no
knowledge of braille. Thereby the elegant design object should make being blind
or being visually impaired more intelligible and raise awareness for the topic.
