45 30 PHILOSOPHY
As brother and sister we became extremely passionate about apparel since we were young. Thanks to both of our grandmothers who, each in their own way, brought fashion to life. One wore exquisite garments, the other one made them. Inspired by the craftsmanship and creativity of our grandmothers we always had a strong desire to launch a clothing line.
We named it 4530, after the PIN number of our grandmother, which was solely used for something really special. And that is exactly what we hope to bring. Since 4530 was founded in Amsterdam we have tried to add some aspects of this vibrant city as well as the characteristics of both grandmothers to our DNA. 4530 is independent, unconventional and creative with an eye for detail. Together we carry on a family tradition.
The designs are basic with a signature clean cut and subtle details. We are always looking for that interesting mix of fabrics we piece together with the finest hand selected materials from around the globe as we both travel the world. Every fabric has another story.
4530 is not just a brand. It’s a label for those who care about creativity and aesthetics. We are driven by the authenticity of individuals. The unrefined subcultures of a modern metropolis, but also the enthusiasm of a traditional dedicated craftsman.
Our grandmothers are inextricably linked with 4530; one gave us the opportunity, the other gave us her craftsmanship. 4530 is our legacy.
