I was asked to create a series of large-scale banners to be displayed both internally and externally at the International Hockey House in London, as well as illustrations featuring all of the nations involved in the field hockey events to be erected in the Holding Pen and Riverbank Arena for the games themselves.
Below are two of the 3 x 6.5 metre banners from the series, featuring the two captains of Team GB, Barry Middleton and Kate Walsh, respectively. These banners were used in the Hockey House atrium specifically for a Gala Dinner event ahead of London 2012. I also created six art canvases featuring players from various nations competing in the field hockey events, some of which can be seen below too.
