Paper Clipelier was designed and built during a graphic design packaging class at Savannah College of Art
and Design in 2005. Conceived as a novelty product which I called an 'office utility lamp', Paper Clipelier
was assembled from a paint bucket, coils of wire, paper clips, and post-it notes. Consequently, I built a 33-inch high hexagonal paperboard shipping box for the lamp, complete with surface graphics, a die-cut window, hang-tags, and a single plastic carrying-handle at the top.
