Arabicouples - Card game of the 22 members of the League of Arab States
Daradam is a French brand highlighting the cultural heritage of the Arab Region by creating educational games and resources for children and teachers.
The company's creators are Hanna, the Hungarian designer mother, and her husband Haykal, the Tunisian engineer, both living in France. They didn’t find fun and well designed products to help them teach their children the Arabic language. So they founded Daradam, and launched the first collection of games, not only for Arabic speaking children.
I was asked to design a card game, called Arabicouples. The purpose of the game is to find the couples of same nationality. The children get to know the traditional costumes, the country's flags and the arabic names of the 22 members of the Arab League.
To find the pairs more easily, I made an interaction between them. I tried to find something special, that relates to their culture.
