A bookplate is a small print or a label, which is adhered to a book, most often inside the front cover. It is also known as ex libris, meaning 'from the library of'. These little marks show the proprietor of the books and also protect them from being lost. Designing an ex libris is a lovely pastime for me. This kind of work is pretty personal, therefore it is a good feeling when someone reposes confidence in me to design their personal symbol. I love to summarize the owner's interests in one emblem which represents them according to their wish.
