Maquette for sculpture: TREADMILL

Treadmill
A  Polypropylene Maquette from Eddie Roberts Sculpture
All my maquettes come from one single A3 sheet of polypropylene (colours are optional, as is opaque or translucency), cut, folded, creased in a free expression as and when the moment hits me. I sometimes sketch a particular idea I want to translate, however mainly it is 'in the moment'. This is the polypropylene maquette for the sculpture names as TREADMILL. This will then be made from Corten steel to whatever dimensions the buyer specifies. The process is to laser cut the shape from flat sheet metal and use a compressor and folder to add seams and shape to the final piece. The whole process will take several days. This can also be made in large form of polypropylene.
