GRACE GmBh are the world leader in electric bicycle design and technology. Their unique styling, hand made German precision engineering and uses of the latest battery and E-motor technology has put them at the top of the game. No wonder when Deautche post the largest post company in the world came to them asking for a new steed to carry their post more effectively and cleanly, GRACE stepped up to the game.
The Brief had critical structural and material elements. To save cost GRACE and Deutsche Post wanted to use the same tubing as the GRACE one bike (6061 aluminum), also use the same forks as the GRACE one. The Frame had to be shaped using these prefabricated tubes and the cargo carries had to fit in with the grace design language and the final form of the bike. GRACE has a very defined form language and it was key to have that woven into the final design of the bike.
100 working prototypes have been built and are now in testing around Berlin and other parts of Germany
