Marine Megafauna Foundation
Illustrations, sketches, maps
The Marine Megafauna Foundation is an Institute of marine research based in Mozambique, Southeast Asia and South America. MMF specifically focuses on the research and conservation of threatened marine megafauna species. ‘Marine Megafauna’ are large marine species such as sharks, rays, marine mammals and turtles, which are key components of marine ecosystems. The leading research headquarter of the Organization is based in Tofo, Mozambique.

MMF presence is global, extending from Africa to Southeast Asia and Center and South America. In August 2016 I joined the Mozambican research and Media team of the Organization in Mozambique, where I supported the organization through the design of promotional and educational material, maps and illustrations of marine megafauna species.

And when it's time for leaving Mozambique
To say goodbye to sand and sea
You turn around to take a final peek
And you see why it's so unique to be
Among the lovely people living free
Upon the beach of sunny Mozambique
