Academic Project/CompetitionThis project was a proposal for the identity of the Young Iberian Engineers Conference taking place in Braga, Portugal. The concept for the visual iconography of the brand came from a decorative chinese knot, also know as friendship knot. This knot joins together two pieces of rope creating a very secure crossed like junction. Which could serve as an metaphor for the main purpose of the event, the exchange of ideas and experiences between young professionals and students from both countries of the Iberian Peninsula. Promoting cooperation, economic growth and technologic development.
The geometric shape and straight edges of the logotype, and the monospaced, angled typeface try also to convey an idea of modernity and innovation to the event.
