The show is an up close and personal look at the inspirations that drive the music of talented artists from Africa and the diaspora. We journey with Wangechi, a Kenyan hip-hop artiste, as she opens up about her near death experience. She speaks of her inspirations and her mentors. She reveals to us her sense of style and later gets into the studio with her producer Kevin Provoke as get into how they make their music.
