An illustration I made to remind my fellow country men that in this day of age of favoring colonial tastes over our very own roots, we are still Filipinos deep within. An anatomical figure of the human art with patches of colors from the flag of the Philippines. Cultural and iconic symbols (Nora Aunor, The late president Joseph Estrada, Banawe Rice Terraces, Jeepney)in the faint background as texture that is almost unseen, another way of depicting the present state of Filipino taste that fades over time but even though it cannot be seen it will always stay there. A creative way of reminding ourselves that amidst the influence of other nations we still have a Filipino heart.
